Analisis Kerusakan Turbin Menggunakan Metode Failure Mode And Effect Analysis (Fmea) Dan Reability Centered Maintanance (Rcm), Studi Kasus : Plta Maninjau
ABSTRACT
This study aims to analyze damage to critical turbine components at the Maninjau Hydroelectric Power Plant (PLTA Maninjau) using the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) methods. As a primary component in hydroelectric power generation, the turbine plays a vital role in maintaining the continuity of electricity production. Despite routine maintenance being conducted, the damage rate remains high. Therefore, an appropriate method is needed to determine damage-handling priorities and the optimal maintenance interval. The research methodology includes collecting two years of historical maintenance data, processing it using the FMEA method to determine the Risk Priority Number (RPN), and calculating the Mean Time To Failure (MTTF) and Mean Time To Repair (MTTR) to define maintenance intervals using the RCM approach. The results show that the temperature oil lower guide bearing component has the highest RPN value of 48, indicating the highest risk level and requiring priority attention during maintenance. Preventive scheduling based on the calculated MTTF of 134.84 hours and MTTR of 3.87 hours is expected to minimize downtime and extend the turbine's operational lifespan.
