Perbandingan Analisis Kinerja Server CCTV Network Video Recorder ( NVR ) Berbasis Raspberry Pi Dan Docker PC
ABSTRACT
This study analyzes the performance of the Shinobi Video NVR server based on Raspberry Pi and Docker PC in managing IP CCTV video using parameters such as bitrate, latency, jitter, packet loss, CPU and RAM usage, system temperature, network connection status, and storage usage. The results show that the Docker PC delivers more stable and efficient performance compared to the Raspberry Pi, particularly in CPU usage and consistent data throughput. The Raspberry Pi experiences significant temperature increase and CPU load as the number of cameras increases, limiting its optimal capacity. Both systems maintain stable network connections with zero packet loss, supporting real-time surveillance. Storage usage on the Raspberry Pi remains suboptimal, while the Docker PC shows consistent storage consumption. Recommendations include improving cooling and optimizing configuration on the Raspberry Pi, as well as resource and storage management on the Docker PC. This study provides a comprehensive overview of the performance and limitations of two popular NVR platforms, assisting in device selection and management according to CCTV surveillance needs.
