Perancangan Sistem Point Of Sale (Pos) Berbasis Web Pada Rajo Coffee Dengan Metode Rapid Application Development (Rad)

ABSTRACT
The advancement of information technology has driven digital transformation across various sectors, including the culinary industry. Rajo Coffee, a growing coffee shop in Pekanbaru, faces operational challenges due to its reliance on manual systems for transactions, inventory management, and financial reporting. These issues include long queues during peak hours, transaction recording errors, stock data inconsistencies, and delays in generating financial reports. This research aims to design a web-based Point of Sale (POS) system to enhance the operational efficiency and accuracy of Rajo Coffee. The system is developed using PHP programming language with the Laravel framework and MySQL as the database. The system development follows the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, while system quality testing is conducted based on the ISO/IEC 25010 standard. Key features of the system include QR code-based ordering, real-time inventory tracking, and an integrated coffee bean marketplace. The implementation of this system is expected to reduce customer wait times, increase staff productivity, and improve customer experience, thereby supporting the growth and competitiveness of Rajo Coffee in the coffee shop industry.
