Perancangan Smart Food Container Menggunakan Thermoelectric Cooler Dan Heat Pipe Berbasis Internet Of Things
ABSTRACT
This study aims to design and develop a Smart Food Container (SFC) utilizing a Thermoelectric Cooler and Heat Pipe system integrated with the Internet of Things (IoT). The thermoelectric cooler used is the TEC2-25408, which is coupled with a copper heat pipe using water as the working fluid. The heat pipe efficiently absorbs heat from the hot side of the TEC, helping to maintain stable temperatures and reduce the TEC's workload. The system is equipped with IoT integration using the NodeMCU ESP8266 for real-time temperature monitoring. The result of this research is the design and construction of a Smart Food Container with dimensions of 63 cm × 34 cm × 37 cm, consisting of two compartments for hot and cold sections. The SFC serves as an innovative solution for food and beverage delivery systems by maintaining both hot and cold product temperatures. Based on testing, the average experimental Coefficient of Performance (COP) was found to be 0.339, while the design COP was 0.383, resulting in a difference of 0.00436 or 11.38%.
