Perencanaan Tata Letak Fasilitas Pabrik Tapioka Pada Sentra Industri Kecil Menengah Dengan Kapasitas 10 Ton/Hari Dengan Metode Systematic Layout Planning (Slp) Dan Algoritma Blocplan
ABSTRACT
This research aims to design the layout of a tapioca flour factory facility at the Small and Medium Industry Center (SIKM) in Pekanbaru with a capacity of 10 tons per day, using the Systematic Layout Planning (SLP) method and the Blocplan algorithm. In this research, the layout design of the factory facility is carried out by optimizing material flow, space efficiency, and minimizing the distance of material transfer between workstations. The factory will utilize efficient machines that match the desired production capacity of 10 tons of cassava per day, which can produce around 2.7 tons of tapioca flour. The SLP method is used to identify the relationships between departments or areas within the factory, while the Blocplan method is used to determine a more optimal layout by considering travel distance and proximity between facilities. The results of this research are expected to improve operational efficiency and reduce operational costs in the tapioca flour factory, as well as contribute to the development of small and medium industries in Pekanbaru.
