Inventarisasi Bangunan Dan Fasilitas Perlengkapan Jalan Pada Perbatasan Jalan Dalam Dan Luar Kota Pekanbaru Study Kasus: Jalan Garuda Sakti

ABSTRACT Jalan Garuda Sakti is a provincial road that connects Pekanbaru City with Kampar Regency, and is the boundary between inner-city and outer-city roads. Buildings and road equipment facilities play an important role in supporting optimal road function. This study aims to inventory the availability and needs of buildings and road equipment facilities in both segments. The method used is a field survey with a quantitative approach. The results of the study showed that on inner-city roads, none of the three types of road buildings were available, and of the nine types of road equipment facilities, only two were available, namely traffic signs and street lighting. Meanwhile, on outer-city roads, road buildings were also not yet available, and only one facility was available, namely traffic signs. The need for buildings and facilities showed that in inner-city roads, roadside channels, 17 units of street lighting facilities, 32 units of traffic signs, and 2 types of road markings were needed. Meanwhile, in outer-city roads, roadside channels, 33 units of street lighting, 28 units of traffic signs, and 2 types of road markings were needed. This study shows that the condition of buildings and road equipment facilities is still inadequate, both in the city and outside the city. Therefore, it is necessary to accelerate the development and procurement of facilities to support safety, comfort, and smooth traffic, especially on outer-city roads with minimal infrastructure.
