Rancangan Sumur Resapan Air Hujan Sebagai Upaya Pengurangan Limpasan Di Kawasan Perumahan Jaya Muda Perkasa
ABSTRACT
The design of infiltration wells as an effort to reduce rainwater runoff in
Perumahan Jaya Muda Perkasa was carried out through a series of hydrological
and geotechnical analyses and calculations. This study began with the collection
of annual rainfall data which was analyzed using the frequency distribution
method (Gumbel and Log Pearson Type III) to determine the planned rainfall
based on a certain return period. The runoff discharge was calculated using the
Rational Method by considering the runoff coefficient (C), rainfall intensity (I),
and catchment area (A). Percolation tests were carried out at five points to
determine the soil permeability value, which was used in calculating the volume
of water that could seep into the soil. This study was conducted by simulating all
types of 36 m2 houses with an area of 102 m2 and a roof area of 52,539 m2. The
main results of this study prove that the maximum rainfall in 2015 - 2024 was
159.5. In addition, the effect of rainwater infiltration wells calculated from the
roof can reduce 0.071 m3 or 55.90% of the area's runoff discharge. The storage
volume shows that infiltration wells are able to reduce runoff discharge
significantly and are an effective solution to reduce the risk of flooding.
