Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning Untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Proses Sains Siswa Kelas V Sdn 192 Pekanbaru
ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine the influence of the Problem Based Learning model to improve the science process skills of grade V students of SDN 192 Pekanbaru. The research method used is an experimental method with a Quasi Experimental design. Design with the form of a Nonequivalent Control Group Design There are two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. The experimental class was given treatment applied to the Problem Based Learning learning model while the control class applied conventional learning methods. Samples were taken using the Random Sampling technique. To measure students' basic science process skills, an instrument is used in the form of a basic science process skill test consisting of 25 questions in the form of multiple choice through the initial test (pretest) and final test (posttest). The results of this study are students' science process skills, in the experimental class by applying the Problem Based Learning learning model with an average pretest score of 37.00 and a control class of 38.63, then the results of the posttest with an average score of the experimental class are 79.75 while in the control class the average posttest score is 73.13. There is an influence of the PBL learning model, based on the t-test Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected with sig (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05, meaning that there is an influence of the Problem Based Learning learning model to improve the science process skills of grade V students of SDN 192 Pekanbaru.
