peranan guru taman pendidikan al-qur’an (tpa) baitul huda dalam pembinaan akhlak anak di kota pekanbaru
This study is a type of qualitative research with a case study approach. This
study was conducted on Jalan Garuda Sakti km 3 involving 4 informants as research
subjects, including informant 1 (one) Mrs. MU (38 years old), informant 2 (two)
DM (40 years old), informant 3 (three) SI (53 years old), Informant 4 (Four) EW
(44 years old).
The data collection techniques in this study are document techniques,
observation, and interviews. While the analysis in the study includes data reduction,
data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study are that for
children, teachers act as role models, which is the most important role where a
teacher is known as someone who is imitated. As a figure who is imitated, teachers
at TPA Baitul Huda strive to provide a good example for their students. Like
teachers greet when entering the room, shake hands with teachers and children,
behave politely and speak well, dress well, and try to always maintain the
cleanliness of the Baitul Huda TPA environment. If a teacher wants his students to
have good morals, then a teacher also needs to provide a good example for his
students. Teachers can provide good examples for children, such as: having good
morals, being honest, and not being subjective, speaking well, being gentle, polite,
and friendly, being affectionate to students, not emotional when dealing with
students.
The researcher also saw directly how teachers set examples for children.
One of them is that teachers always remind children that before learning begins, the
iv
classroom should be cleaned first and then kept clean. However, not only
reminding, teachers immediately give examples to children. It can be seen that
while reminding, teachers also sweep the room, then the children themselves
immediately move to organize the tables, erase the blackboard and tidy up the books
or Qur’ans on the shelves. Simple efforts but can arouse children’s sensitivity. From
the results of observations and interviews conducted by researchers, it can be seen
that teachers at TPA Baitul Huda have positioned their role as role models by
providing several good examples to children. In addition, the exemplary method
applied by teachers also seems effective in fostering children’s morals. Such as not
only ordering them to do what they are told to do but also exemplifying it to
children, so that children will be moved to do what the teacher exemplifies.
Based on the results of research and discussion on the role of teachers in
fostering children’s morals at the Al-Qur’an Education Park (TPA) Baitul Huda
Pekanbaru. The researcher can provide the following suggestions:
1. For the TPA Baitul Huda institution, continue the programs that have
been running optimally and immediately minimize all forms of obstacles
encountered in the process of fostering children’s morals.
2. For teachers, the moral development carried out is quite good. Both in the
learning process at TPA and outside TPA. Improve discipline and supervision of
children’s behavior, especially for children who lack support from their parents.
Apart from that, stay enthusiastic and don’t give up in educating children at Baitul
Huda TPA.
3. Students should be more diligent and enthusiastic in participating in
education at Baitul Huda TPA. Study seriously, obey the existing rules and obey
the teacher. And carrying out good obligations can help smooth moral development
efforts.
