Strategi Pengembangan Usaha Kecil Menengah (Ukm) Ayam Goreng (Fried Chicken) Di Kecamatan Tampan
The purpose of this study is to find out how the appropriate alternative
strategy to be applied in the development of Small and Medium Enterprises
(SMEs) fried chicken in District Tampan. This research uses primary data and
secondary data. Primary data obtained directly from business actor of fried
chicken and secondary data obtainedfrom Department of Cooperatives and SMEs
Pekanbaru City.In this study, the number of samples of 7 fried chicken business.
Analyzer used in this research is SWOT. The results of IFAS SWOT matrix is 2.63
with a strength score of 2.07 and a weakness score of 0.56. This shows that the
strength factor of fried chicken SMEs is greater than the weakness factor, while
the total value obtained from EFAS is 2.76 with an opportunity score of 2.29 and
a threat score of 0.47. This shows the opportunity factor owned by fried chicken
SMEs greater than the threat factor. Based on the calculation of value rating and
internal factor weight of fried chicken business development strategy as X axis
that is 1.51, while external factor on fried chicken SMEs as Y axis 1.82. The right
alternative strategy for fried chicken SMEs is SO strategy. SO strategy is a
strategy that fried chicken SMEs can use in creating strategies that use the power
to take advantage of existing opportunities. SO strategy in fried chicken SMEs is
expanding market share, maintaining and improving product and service quality
to maintain customer loyalty.
