Hubungan Substrat Dasar Dengan Kelimpahan Makrozoobenthos Di Pantai Pelawan Pulau Karimun Besar Kabupaten Karimun Provinsi Kepulauan Riau

This study aims to analyze the relationship between size of particles a base substrate and organic matter with abundance of macrozoobenthos on the Pelawan beach. The studies was conducted in coastal waters Pelawan Karimun Besar island Karimun regency Kepulauan Riau province. The methods used was survey. The determination of point of sampling used the method purposive sampling. Sampling has been conducted on February 2017 and analyzed faction sediment in Marine Chemistry Laboratory and macrozoobenthos identification has been conducted in Marine Biology Laboratory in March 2017. The research results show that faction sand dominated on the site of research, about 45.64-95.69 %. The organic matter in coastal waters Pelawan are low in range 0.42-5.07 %. A kind of macrozoobenthos from observation research obtained 1 classes of a class of gastropoda consisting of 17 species with value abundance between 8.3-112.5 ind / m2. The relationship between size of particles a base substrate and organic matter with abundance of macrozoobenthos respectively show the relation strong and very strong.
