Pengaruh Pemberian Rock Phosphate Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Produksi Jagung Manis (Zea Mays Saccharata Sturt.) Pada Lahan Gambut

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of giving rock phosphate and get the best dose for sweet corn production on peatlands. This research was conducted experimentally by using Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 6 treatments and 4 replications to obtain 24 experimental units. The treatments of this research ware dose of rock phosphate 0 kg/ha, 100 kg/ha, 200 kg/ha, 300 kg/ha, 400 kg/ha and 500 kg/ha. Observational data obtained were analyzed using varience analysis and conducted a further test using Least Significance Different (LSD) at 5% level. The parameters focused on plant height, the number of leaves, trunk diameter, age flowers appear, harvest age, cob weight with cornhusk, cob weight without cornhusk, cob lenght, cob diameter, the number of seed per line and production/m2. The result of this research showed that the increased dose of rock phosphate up to 400 kg/ha effect to all parameters. Dose of rock phosphate 400 kg/ha was the best treatments that could produce the best growth and production of sweet corn on each parameters.
