Isolasi Dan Uji Antagonis Jamur Endofit Dari Tanaman Bawang Merah (Allium Ascalonicum L.) Terhadap Alternaria Porri Ellis Cif. Serta Identifikasi Jamur Endofit Yang Berdaya Antagonis Tinggi
The research aims to isolate and to observe the antagonicity of endophytic fungus from onion plant to Alternaria porri and to identify the high antagonicity isolates. This research has been conducted at Plant Pathology Laboratory, Agriculture Faculty, University of Riau from March until May 2017. The methods which are used in this research were explorational method (isolation and purification of the endophytic fungus from onion plant), experimental methods (antagonicity of fungus endophytic from onion plant to A. porri. and the diameter and growth of high antagonicity isolates to A. porri) and observation methods (hyperparasitism test, hypovirulency test and identification of 5 high antagonicity to A. porri). Data collected from step 1, 4, 5 and 6 were analyzed descriptively. Step 2 and 3 used analysis of variance. The mean of each treatment were compared with Duncan’s New Multiple Range Test (DNMRT) at level 5%. The result showed that there were 10 fungus which 5 of them had a high antagonicity in controling A. porri. Isolate E3 has the highest antagonisticity 55,25% while isolate E4 has the highest diameter and growth namely 93,7 mm and 31,4 mm/day. The all five isolates are hypovirulent. Three isolates endophytic were identified belonging to Nigrospora (E2), Aspergillus (E3), Epicoccum (E4), while isolate E1 and E10 still not yet.
