Pengaruh Pemberian Kotoran Larva Kumbang Tanduk Dan Pupuk N, P, K Terhadap Pertumbuhan Bibit Kelapa Sawit (Elaeis Guineensis Jacq.)
This study aims to determine the effect of horn beetle larvae feces and N, P, K fertilizers and appropriate dosage on the growth of oil palm seedlings. The research has been conducted in the experimental farm of Faculty of Agriculture, from August to November 2016. The experiment conducted by Factorial Randomized Design (FRD) and 3 replications. The first factor was the dosage of horn beetle larvae feces (L) 4 levels in 10 kg of soil: L0 = 0 g, L1 = 75 g, L2 = 100 g , L3 = 125 g. The second factor was the dosage of N, P, K (P) Fertilizer 4 levels in 10 kg of soil: P0 = without Urea, TSP dan KCl, P1 = 0.75 g urea+0.75 g TSP+0.5 g KCl , P2 = 1.5 g urea+1.5 TSP+1.0 g KCl, P3 = 2.25 g urea+2.25 g TSP+1.5 g KCl. Each experimental unit consists of 2 plants, so there are 96 plants. Observation parameters were the increase of seedling height (cm), the increase of leaf number, the increase of stem diameter (cm), root volume, increase the seedling dry weight (g) and the root shoot ratio. The data were analyzed by anova and DNMRT at 5% level. The results showed that horn beetle larvae feses and N, P, K fertilizer no significant effect on the increase of seedling height, the increase of leaf number, the increase of stem diameter and root volume, but increase the seedling dry weight and the root shoot ratio. The best dosage is that horn beetle larvae feses 75 g and 0.75 g urea+0.75 g TSP+0.5 g KCl.
