this research is motivated by the number of students who get low grade in mathematics. This study aims to describe the causes of the low outcomes of student in class IVB SDN 147 Pekanbaru with 10 subjects. Based on the results obtained data causes of low student learning outcomes in matematics subject class IVB is the atmosphere of teaching, the model of presentation of subject matter, willingness to learn, personal and teacher attitudes, readiness or maturity. As for the causes of the low studdent learning outcomes in class IVB SDN 147 Pekanbaru the most dominant is the teaching atmosphere with a percentage of 95%.
