Pengaruh Profitabilitas, Investment Opportunity Set, Free Cash Flow, Dan Leverage Terhadap Kebijakan Dividen (Studi Empiris Pada Perusahaan Manufaktur Yang Terdaftar Di Bursa Efek Indonesia Tahun 2016-2018)

ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine (1) The effect of profitability on dividend policy, (2) The
effect of the investment opportunity set on dividend policy, (3) The effect of free cash flow
on dividend policy, (4) The effect of leverage on dividend policy. The population of this
study is manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016-2018.
The sample selection in this study was based on the purposive sampling method and the
total sample is 41 companies. The data analysis used in the study was multiple linear
regression analysis using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) ver. 25.0,
while the data used is secondary data obtained from the financial statements and annual
report of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2016-
2018. The results showed that profitability affected dividend policy, investment
opportunity set did not affect dividend policy, free cash flow affected dividend policy, and
leverage did not affect dividend policy.
