Penerapan Bahasa Jurnalistik Pada Kategori Berita Hukum Kriminal Datariau.Com

Datariau.com is one of the online media in Pekanbaru that has been
established since August 20, 2012. Datariau as verified by the press council there
is still a discrepancy in the writing of journalistic language. The purpose of this
research is to find out how journalistic language is implemented in the news
portal category of Criminal law datariau.com.
This study uses the press theory of social responsibility. The approach
used is skinative with descriptive methods of analysis. The subjects in this study
were news portals Datariau.com. The object of news research criminal law
category in the news portal Datariau.com. Data collection techniques used are
observation, interview, and documentation. The research location is in the
redactional office Datariau.com. The informants in this study were deputy editorin-
chief of Datariau, Managing Editor of Datariau, and Datariau Journalist.
The results showed that the application of journalistic language in the
news portal category of criminal law datariau.com there are still 65 discrepancies
in journalistic language writing. Based on the results of the study, it refers to the
theory of social responsibility, it is concluded that datariau.com has tried to fulfill
its obligations as a media that serves the interests of the community by trying to
write good news in accordance with the code of ethics and journalistic language.
