Analisis Framing Berita Kebakaran Hutan Dan Lahan Dalam Media Online Tribunpekanbaru.Com Dan Goriau.Com Di Riau Tahun 2020

Forest and land fires are a disaster that occurs every year in Indonesia,
especially in Riau Province. Efforts and solutions continue to be made by the
Government to prevent forest and land fires by carrying out the "2020 Riau
Karhutla Free" movement. This is a strategy to minimize the recurring forest and
land fires. The online media Tribunpekanbaru.com and GoRiau.com are the local
online media that mostly reported forest and land fires from January to February
2020. Forest and land fire reports on Tribupekanbaru.com were 58 news and on
GoRiau.com online media there were 53 news reports. Therefore, this study
discusses the framing of forest and land fires in Riau in the local online media
Tribunpekanbaru.com and GoRiau.com in the January-February 2020 period.
This research uses qualitative research methods with descriptive qualitative
presentation in the data analysis used is the Robert N. Entman framing analysis
by selecting issues and emphasizing or highlighting certain aspects with certain
realities, which will reveal how the news framing is carried out. by local online
media Tribunpekanbaru.com and GoRiau.com for reporting of forest and land
fires in Riau.
The results of this study indicate that forest and land fires in Riau are
framed differently. The online media Tribunpekanbaru.com revealed cases of
forest and land fires, efforts to overcome forest and land fires that occurred in
Riau until the suspect was found burning forests and land. Meanwhile, online
media GoRiau.com presents a different framework, this media emphasizes the
humanist side of the government in its strategy to deal with forest and land fire
disasters. This media provides support to the government in every report. The
difference in terms of news writing is motivated by differences in the perspectives
of each media to attract readers' interest. In this case, it can be seen from how
journalists write news that is compiled based on the 4 elements of Entman, namely
Define Problems (defining problems), Diagnose Causes (estimating problems),
Make Moral Judgment (making moral decisions), and Treatment
Recommendation (emphasizing resolution.
