Analisis Clustering Penyebaran Sekolah Di Kota Pekanbaru Menggunakan Spectral Clustering Dan Density-Based Spatial Clustering Of Applications With Noise
Education is one of the factors that developing Human Resources and plays an important role in producing high-quality Human Resources. To achieve a high-quality of Human Resources, the equitable distribution of school is a matter that requires the government’s attention. The distribution of school can be observed through data analysis. Clustering is one of the data analysis methods that can be used to group data. The aim of this research is to analyzing the distribution of schools in Pekanbaru based on the clusters formed using Spectral Clustering and Density-Based Spatial Clustering of Applications with Noise. The results of the research using Spectral Clustering algorithm produced 2 clusters, while the Density-Based Spatial Clustering of Applications with Noise algorithm produced 4 clusters. The Spectral Clustering algorithm achieved a Silhouette Index of 0.43206 and a Davies-Bouldin Index of 0.91623, whereas the Density-Based Spatial Clustering of Applications with Noise algorithm obtained a Silhouette Index of 0.3371 and a Davies-Bouldin Index of 0.95278. Based on these cluster validation, it was concluded that the Spectral Clustering performs better in clustering compared to the Density-Based Spatial Clustering of Applications with Noise.
