This study aims to improve student learning outcomes and describe the improvement of student learning outcomes in the application of the TGT type cooperative model using rank one in the subject of science and natural sciences. The subjects of this study were 26 fourth grade students of SD Negeri 103 Pekanbaru. The object of this study was students' science and natural science learning outcomes. This study is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) consisting of
2 cycles with stages of planning, implementation/action, observation, and reflection. The data for this study were obtained from teacher activities, student activities, and the results of daily science and natural science tests of fourth grade students. The results of this study showed an increase in: a) Teacher activity in cycle I meeting 1 with a percentage of 79.17% in the sufficient category, in cycle I meeting 2 with a percentage of 83.33% in the good category and cycle II with a percentage of 91.67% in the very good category, b) Student activity in cycle I meeting 1 with a percentage of 70.83% in the sufficient category, in cycle I meeting 2 with a percentage of 87.5% in the good category and cycle II with a percentage of 91.67% in the very good category, c) Learning outcomes in cycle I obtained an average of 82.76 with an increase percentage of 21.23% and in cycle II obtained an average of 88.39 with an increase percentage of 29.46%, d) Classical completeness in cycle I obtained a percentage of 73.08% from the basic score in the incomplete category and in cycle II obtained a percentage of 88.47% from the basic score in the complete category.
