Evaluasi Kapasitas Sistem Drainase Menggunakan Epa Swmm (Studi Kasus Di Kelurahan Simpang Tetap Darul Ihsan Kecamatan Dumai Barat)
ABSTRACT
Tidal floods are floods caused by rising sea water, where the rise is higher than the
shoreline or land. The tidal floods that occurred in Dumai City caused considerable
losses. Tidal floods not only inundate residential areas but also inundate roads,
causing disruption to residents' activities in industrial movements. This study aims
to simulate the drainage network using EPA SWMM software in Simpang Tetap
Darul Ihsan Village and determine solutions to overcome flooding in Simpang
Tetap Darul Ihsan Village with EPA SWMM software. This test was carried out by
comparing the length of inundation in the EPA SWMM software with conditions in
the field. From the EPA SWMM simulation results with existing conditions on Jl.
M. Husni Tamrin experiencing full capacity with a return period of 2, 5 and 10
years. Simulation results using EPA SWMM software with the addition of flood
canals (top width 3.5 m, bottom width 2.5 m and depth 1.5 m) in one section of Jl.
M. Husni Tamrin is able to accommodate rainfall and the highest tide with a return
period of 2, 5 and 10 years. Meanwhile, Ratu Sima Village is still flooded on several
roads. It is necessary to conduct a review to overcome the tidal flooding.
