Peran Kelompok Sadar Wisata (Pokdarwis) Dalam Pengembangan Objek
This study aims to describe the role of the Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis) in the development of the Tobek Pebaun Tourism Object in Pebaun Hilir Village and to describe the supporting and inhibiting factors of the Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis) in the development of the Tobek Pebaun Tourism Object in Pebaun Hilir Village. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach, with the results presented in descriptive form. Data collection was obtained through observation, interview, and documentation techniques, with research subjects consisting of Tourism Awareness Group administrators and members, the Head of Pebaun Hilir Village, community leaders of Pebaun Hilir Village, and visitors. Proof of the validity of the data using triangulation of sources methods. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively with the steps of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions, the theory used is the theory put forward by James s Coleman about the rational choice process carried out by Tourism Awareness Group to play a role in developing tourist attractions. The results of the study revealed that: 1) The role of Tourism Awareness Group in the development of the Tobek Pebaun Tourist Attraction in Pebaun Hilir Village, namely by taking the following steps: (a). holding deliberations involving the community to discuss problems and find solutions together, (b). increasing the knowledge and skills of members and the community, (c). developing attractive play facilities and photo spots (d). contributing to creating a conducive climate in the tourist area. 2) Supporting factors for Tourism Awareness Group in the development of the Tobek Pebaun Tourist Attraction in Pebaun Hilir Village, namely: enthusiasm and motivation from the management and members, a strong sense of mutual cooperation and family, and the presence of additional attractions. While the inhibiting factors are: lack of human resources in the tourism sector, low community participation and lack of awareness and actualization of the community towards the values of the seven charms, and minimal support from the government.
