Rasionalitas Petani Dalam Memutuskan Konversi Lahan Komoditi Di Desa Pangkalan Kapas Kecamatan Kampar Kiri Hulu
The conversion of rubber plantation land to citronella plantation is called land conversion. Land conversion is an act of changing or diverting the function of part or all of the land to citronella plantation land. The purpose of the study was to determine the factors that influence farmers' considerations in converting land and the impacts felt on the social and economic lives of farmers. This study uses a quantitative descriptive approach. The population in this study were all rubber farmers who changed their land to citronella land totaling 56 people, the sampling technique used was a census sample, namely taking all populations as samples. The data instrument was a questionnaire, and was analyzed descriptively. The results of the study showed that several factors had dominant values, namely economic factors (608) and environmental factors (600). Furthermore, the less dominant factor was the technical factor (628). There were 5 impacts caused by land conversion, namely changes in working hours, social interaction, income, livelihoods and land ownership.
