The community actively participates and involves themselves both directly and indirectly to help maintain and preserve the natural and cultural wealth they have. This study aims to determine the form of participation and to determine the factors that influence community participation in developing bono tourism objects. This study uses a quantitative research method. This study uses a population that is used as a sample, namely the Tourism Awareness Group with a sample size of 40 samples/respondents. The theory used is the theory of community participation by Cohen and Uphoff. The results of the study show that there is an influence of community participation on the development of bono tourism. Through testing using the t-test, the t-count value of 9.992 t table 1.985 was obtained with a sig of 0.000 0.05 which can be concluded that there is a significant influence between the independent variables on the dependent variables. The results of the r-square test data analysis show a coefficient of determination value in simple linear regression of 0.724 (72.4%). So this shows that 72.4% of tourism development is influenced by community participation.
