Analisis Kelayakan Potensi Objek Wisata Air Terjun Batu Dinding, Kecamatan Kampar Kiri Hulu Kabupaten Kampar

ABSTRACT
Ecotourism is a tourism activity that is responsible for nature, empowers the
community, and increases environmental awareness. Batu Dinding Waterfall,
which is located in the vicinity of Bukit Rimbang-Bukit Baling Wildlife Reserve,
has a natural tourist attraction. This study aims to determine the feasibility level
of the Batu Dinding Waterfall tourist attraction and to determine tourists
perceptions of its potential as a tourist attraction. This research used a mixed
approach, qualitative and quantitative. Data were collected through in-depth
interviews, closed interviews, observations, and document studies. Observation to
assess the potential of tourist attractions based on aspects: attractiveness,
accessibility, environmental conditions, accommodation, facilities and
infrastructure, availability of clean water, and carrying capacity of the area. Data
analysis refers to the ADO-ODTWA guidelines from the Directorate General of
Forest Protection and Nature Conservation, to determine the feasibility of tourism
objects and tourist satisfaction at the Batu Dinding Waterfall tourist attraction
using a Likert scale. The results showed that the feasibility index value of Batu
Dinding Waterfall was 70.9%, so that the tourist attraction is feasible to develop.
The aspect with the highest feasibility value is the attractiveness of the area,
amounting to 93.3%, while the lowest is the environmental conditions around the
area, amounting to 38.5%. Meanwhile, tourist satisfaction with the Batu Dinding
Waterfall tourist attraction shows that 54.8% of tourists are satisfied.
