Effective management of accounts receivable is one of the things that the
company expects to gain through credit activities. This study aims to determine
the effective management of receivables to increase the profitability of the
company PT. Pegadaian (Persero) Regional Office II Pekanbaru from 2015 to
2019 using the ratio of activity and profitability. The type of research conducted
in the form of secondary data which is data from financial statements. The data
collection technique used is the method of observation and documentation. The
data analysis technique used is to calculate the ratios of activity and profitability.
Based on the results of the financial data analysis of PT. Pegadaian (Persero)
Regional Office II Pekanbaru that the level of activity ratio in 2015 to 2019 in
terms of receivable turn over (receivable turnover) got quite good results. The
level of profitability in 2015 to 2019 in terms of ROA shows very good results.
Judging from the analysis of the ratio of activity and profitability, it is said that the
management of receivables needs to be improved again to obtain profitability at
PT. pawnshop (Persero) Regional Office II Pekanbaru.
