Hubungan Antara Konsep Diri Dengan Kemandirian Pada Anak Usia Dini Usia 5-6 Tahun Di Tk Negeri Pembina 3 Pekanbaru

This research aims to know the relationship of self concept with the independence of children aged 5-6 years in TK Negeri Pembina 3 Pekanbaru. The sample of this research is all children aged 5-6 years old in TK Negeri Pembina 3 Pekanbaru, which amounted to 98 children. The data collection techniques used are observation sheets. The technique of data analysis is using Pearso Product Moment correlation technique with SPSS for windows version 24 program. From the research results known level of child self concept is in a very low category with a percentage value of 78,94% and the independence of the child is in the low category with a percentage value of 50,92%. Based on the result of the hypothesis test there is a significant positive correlation between self concept with independence of children aged 5-6 years old in TK Negeri Pembina 3 Pekanbaru. This can be known from the value of the correlation coefficient of rxy =0,274 and significance level 0,006< 0,05. The level of correlation between self concept with independence included in the strong category with the value of determinant coefficient is equal to KD = r² x 100% = 0,2742 x 100% = 7,505, it means that self concept gives effect of 7,50% to independence.
