Perbaikan Dan Analisis Kualitas Air Untuk Budidaya Ikan Badut (Amphiprion Ocellaris) Pada Sistem Resirkulasi
The need for ornamental fish is currently increasing while its availability in nature is
decreasing due to overfishing and the destruction of coral reefs where ornamental fish
live planty fish (A. ocellaris). The problem in the culture of planty fish (A.ocellaris) is the
research planty fish (A. ocellaris) water quality. Circulation is one can be used in water
quality management with the help of filters. . This research was carried out from January
to April 2021 at the Sibolga Fisheries College Research Institute. The purpose of this
research was to analyze and determin the filter material effect and it this right type of
filter to stabilize seawater quality in planty fish (A.ocellaris) rearing containers. The
method used is an experimental method using a one-factor Completely Randomized
Design (CRD) with four treatments level and three replications. The treatments in this
study were P0 (without filter) as control, P1 (Cotton Filter), P2 (Fiber Filter) and P3
(Activated Charcoal Filter). The fish used were 2-3 cm in size and aquarium measuring
60x40x40cm with a stocking density of 15 fish/50 liters for 28 days. The types of feed was
tubifex with the frequency of feeding 2 times a day, at 08.00 am and 18.00 pm much as
5% of body weight.
The results of this research of time from the improvement and analysis of water quality
for the culture of planty fish (A.ocellaris) in the system of recirculation have effected on
the water quality from temperature, pH, DO, phosphate, and ammonia. The best type of
filter used in planty fish rearing containers was cotton. Cotton treatmens the gives water
quality results, of temperature are 27.9–28.0 0C, pH 8.3–8.4, DO 7.5–8.0 mg/L , salinity
32 ppt, ammonia 0.04–0.06 mg/L, phosphate 0.47–0.48 mg/L and bacterial abundance
2.35x104 CFU mL-1, absolute weight of planty fish (A. ocellaris) 1.05 g, length absolute
value of 0.79 cm, 6.07% specific growth rate and 95.55% survival rate. The all water
quality was the best for culture of fish.
