Pengaruh Kandungan Pasir Dan Semen Pada Stabilisasi Gambut Dengan Geopolimer Hybrid Dan Pasir
ABSTRACT
Peat soil is known as a soil that has a low soil bearing capacity and a high
level of compression. The poor nature of the peat soil can lead to over-subsidence
and construction failure. Improvement efforts are needed to meet the construction
criteria. One of the improvement efforts is mass stabilization. Mass stabilization is
carried out by directly mixing peat soil in dry or wet conditions in the field with a
certain amount of stabilizing agent. Additives for mass stabilization in the form of
binders. Geopolymer hybrid used 15% fly ash by weight and cement variations of
15%, 20%, and 25%. Sand was used to reduce the cement content. Alkaline solution
used NaOH and Na2SO3. Mixing in this study mixed fly ash, cement, dry sand first.
After that, it was mixed into peat soil and alkaline solution according to the
predetermined mixture composition. The peat soil and binder were stirred evenly
and then put into the mold. The mixture was fed into a cylindrical mold in 3 layers
and punctured 15 times per layer. After that, it was given a cylindrical iron load.
Unconfined Compressive Strength (UCS) tests were carried out after the specimens
were cured for 7, 28, and 56 days. The size of the test object for the UCS test was
5.5 cm in diameter and 12 cm in height. The results showed that UCS values
increase with the addition of cement and sand.
