Evaluasi Kinerja Seismik Struktur Gedung Transmart Kota Padang Dengan Metode Pushover Analysis
Evaluation of structural performance is considered important to be applied,
especially to structures designed using previous design standards in order to see
the impact of renewing earthquake-resistant building design standards in
Indonesia. It seeks to determine whether the renewal will have an impact on the
performance of the existing structure based on the structure's level of
performance and vulnerability index. In this study, the Transmart Padang
building was taken as the object of the case study, Transmart Padang was chosen
because it is located in an area with high earthquake intensity, specifically
Padang City and this building is a public facility designed using the previous
design code, SNI 1726-2013. In this study, the advanced analytical method that
will be applied is pushover analysis. The results of the analysis show that while
there is no change in the level of performance in the X-direction, different things
happen in the Y-direction, where the level of performance when evaluated using
SNI 1726-2012 refers to ATC 40, which is categorized as structural stability, but
changes to life safety when evaluated using SNI 1726-2019, as well as when
referring to the FEMA 356 standard. The X-direction Vi value is 0.29, but when
compared to the new standard, this value drops to 0.24. The value of Vi decreased
in the Y-direction as well, with the value of Vi being 0.23 and 0.19, respectively,
when evaluated using SNI 1726-2012 and SNI 1726-2019. Based on a case study
for the Transmart building in Padang City, the update of SNI 1726 2012 to SNI
1726 2019 revealed a change in structural performance based on the results of
the performance level of the drift-ratio and the vulnerability index value based on
the performance of plastic hinges. This research is expected to be used as a
reference source by academics or practitioners in Indonesia when evaluating the
performance of existing structures designed using previous design standards.
