ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine the perception of the recipient community
about the success of the program in the type of New Development Assistance
(PB), Quality Improvement (PK) and Infrastructure, Facilities, and Utilities
(PSU) in Self-Help Housing Stimulant Assistance (BSPS) in poverty alleviation in
Siak Regency. . The method used in this research is descriptive method. The
population in this study were all the people of Siak Regency who received the
assistance of the Self-Help Housing Stimulant Program (BSPS) as many as 1,195
housing units. Sampling is done by incidental technique. So the sample is 100
respondents. Collecting data using a questionnaire and data analysis in this study
using a descriptive quantitative approach. The results showed that (1) the
perception of the recipient community about the success of the program in the
type of New Development assistance (PB) in the Self-Help Housing Stimulant
Assistance (BSPS) in poverty alleviation in Siak Regency was in the good
category. (2) The perception of the recipient community about the success of the
program in the type of Quality Improvement (PK) assistance in Self-Help Housing
Stimulant Assistance (BSPS) in poverty alleviation in Siak Regency is in the good
category. (3) The perception of the recipient community about the success of the
program in the type of Infrastructure, Facilities and Utilities (PSU) assistance in
Self-Help Housing Stimulant Assistance (BSPS) in poverty alleviation in Siak
Regency is in the good category.
