Destinasi Wisata Gastronomi Di Kuala Terusan Dengan Pendekatan Floating Architecture
ABSTRACT
The city of Pangkalan Kerinci is a city development area located on the Trans
Sumatra Highway and has several villages. One of them is that Kuala Terusan
Village is an area surrounded by rivers, has a natural feel that is still beautiful and
residential residents still live on stilt houses. The livelihoods of the residents of
Kuala Terusan Village are mostly fishermen who use natural resources to find fish
around the Kampar river flow. The fish obtained were catfish, jam fish, and giant
prawns. These fish are processed by the fishermen's wives which are made into salai
fish and salted fish. Gastronomy is everything related to the enjoyment of food and
drink. The village has the potential for livelihood results and processed food, with
that idea to accommodate the population by designing Gastronomic Tourism
Destinations with a Floating Architecture approach.
