Perancangan Perumahan Dengan Pendekatan Arsitektur Biofilik Di Pekanbaru
ABSTRACT
Population dynamics concerning population growth, density and mobility are closely
related to housing needs as housing for the community. Population growth and
uneven distribution will have social and economic impacts in the future. Pekanbaru
as the capital city of Riau Province with a fairly high population density
classification should be able to answer these problems. Currently, the distribution of
the population of Pekanbaru City is concentrated in Tampan District, while the
lowest population density is in Rumbai, causing an uneven distribution of the
population in Pekanbaru. Therefore, it is necessary to have a housing unit in Rumbai
that has standard livable facilities with complete facilities and infrastructure that are
integrated with each other. This is in line with the government's program, namely the
fulfillment of the One Million Houses Program (PSR) target by developing an
integrated residential function that is able to support the sustainability of the housing
function. Environmental issues are also a problem being faced today, such as energy
waste and environmental damage. For this reason, housing places more emphasis on
the Biophilic Architectural Approach. The biophilic principles emphasize human and
environmental aspects so as to help realize housing with a healthy environment and
protect it from environmental damage.
