ABSTRACT
Legalization is the process of an expert attached the original stamp and signature
on a photocopy of a diploma as proof that the photocopy validates the original.
The purpose of legalization is to ensure that authentic photocopies can be
recognized because they have the connected party's stamp and signature printed
on them. At Riau University's Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, the
process of legalizing diplomas is now conducted out to use manual procedures,
which have the problems of processing legalized files that just aren't systematic,
no time associated with legalization, and unstructured payment recaps. The
purpose of this research is to build a web-based Information System for
Legalization Management at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences.
This system design uses use case diagrams, class diagrams, and sequence
diagrams. This system was built using the PHP language, the MySQL database,
and the CodeIgniter3 framework. All users must find it easier with this
information system. This information system also helps streamline the processing
of legalized data, management software, and payment processing.
