Analisis Energy Dan Exergy-Economic Gathering Station Dan Hydrocarbon Transport Di Aging Facility Cpp-Block
The objectives of this research are to analyze energy and exergy in the
operation of collecting and shipping crude oil which is one of the operating
processes in the Upstream Oil and Gas Industry that requires energy consumption
at a large cost. The decline in oil production and the large operating costs at CPP
Block BOB PT. Bumi Siak Pusako-Pertamina Hulu caused a reduction in
company profits and a decrease in Original Regional Revenue from Oil and Gas
Revenue Sharing Funds. One of the efforts that can be made to maintain or
increase company profits from production is to reduce costs incurred during the
production process. Energy and exergy analysis can be done to determine the
efficiency of energy use by determining the balance of energy and exergy and the
points of loss due to exergy-destruction on a system and operating equipment.
Furthermore, the exergy analysis is combined with economic analysis (exergoeconomic)
to calculate the energy costs used and the cost losses due to the amount
of exergy-destruction.
Energy and exergy analysis was carried out on equipment in the gathering
station, water cleaning plant, water injection plant and hydrocarbon transport
sub-systems with the largest energy analysis results being static equipment on
gas-boot of 104,654.92 kJ/day, rotating equipment on filter charge pump 745.95
kW and sect feeding pipe heater 2.948 kJ/s. Meanwhile, the largest exergy loss in
static occurred in the wash tank 73.418 kWh, in rotating equipment in the
shipping tank 15.90 kWh and in the sect feeding pipe heater 131.01 kWh with a
total loss due to exergy annihilation of 105,457.30 USD/year where the cost of
exergy destruction for static equipment on the wash tank of 57,882.94 USD/year,
rotating equipment on the charge pump 19,765.15 USD/year and HCT pipe
heaters 103,289.51 USD/year.
