Penerapan Arsitektur High Technology Pada Perancangan Peternakan Ayam Broiler Di Pekanbaru
ABSTRACT
Pekanbaru City almost every day consumes 10 tons of chicken meat per day to
meet food needs. The consumption of chicken meat and eggs is certain to increase
every day in line with the population of Pekanbaru, which is followed by their
food needs. This requires mastery of good and productive management techniques
so that chicken production and consumption can be stable. Chicken farms in
Indonesia, both broilers and laying hens are still using the method
(manual/conventional) in the process of caring for chickens, namely the open cage
system. The condition of the open cage system can be said to be less than
environmentally friendly, because air pollution in the surrounding environment
cannot be minimized and disease control in chickens cannot be controlled. The
solution to this problem is the need for a container that can produce quality
chicken so that the need for chicken meat can increase, namely Broiler Chicken
Farms. Application of a cover system that can modify its environment so as to
provide comfort for broilers and building users by using building technology in
the form of High Technology Architecture. The results of the design of this broiler
farm will be able to produce high quality chickens by applying building
technology that supports the cage environment and farm performance.
