Bioekologi Ikan Betok (Anabas Testudineus) Di Danau Tuok Tonga Desa Buluh Cina Kecamatan Siak Hulu, Kabupaten Kampar, Provinsi Riau

ABSTRACT
Anabas testudineus is one of the freshwater fishes that inhabit Tuok Tonga Lake. This
study aims to determine the bioecology of betok fish which includes sex, length and weight,
the relationship between length and weight, the level of maturity of the gonads, conditions
and fecundity factors in Lake Tuok Tonga. This research was conducted on December 2021-
January 2022. Fish sampling is carried out once a month for two months. This fish was
captured using sempirai at three sample locations. The betok fish caught during the study
were 92 consisting of 50 males and 42 females (sex ratio 1:1). There are only 6 female fish
that have matured gonads. The total length of male and female fish ranges from 108-175 mm
and 117-210 mm with body weight ranges from 28-100 gr and 40-190 gr. The results show
that the growth pattern of betok fish was negative allometric with the b value of male and
female fish is 2,6452 and 2,5211, respectively. The condition factors range from 0,8256-
1,3049 and the fecundity range from 13,351-69,480. While the water quality parameters are
as follows: temperature 29-29,67 0C, brightness 53,67-79,67, water level height 70-80 cm, pH
5, dissolved oxygen 2,56-3,63 mg / L, free carbon dioxide 10,65-13,32 mg / L, ammonia
0,0471-0,0493 mg / L, nitrate 0,1629-0,1784 mg / L and phosphate 0,0760-0,0790 mg / L.
