Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Tipe (Make A Match) Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Sejarah Siswa Kelas X Di SMAN 2 Kubu Babussalam
The low learning outcomes of history class X students of SMA Negeri 2
Kubu Babussalam are caused by several factors including, teachers never vary
learning models such as holding games in learning, in learning teachers rarely ask
students to socialize to develop their ability to absorb lessons, in teaching teachers
do not Many use source books so that the material presented is limited. The
objectives of this study are (1) to determine the teacher's activities using the Make
a Match type learning model in class X SMAN 2 Kubu Babussalam in the subject
of History. (2) to determine student activities using the Make a Match type
learning model in class X SMAN 2 Kubu Babussalam in the subject of History.
(3) to determine student learning outcomes in history subjects by using the Make
a Match type learning model in class X SMAN 2 Kubu Babussalam. This study
uses Classroom Action Research (CAR) which includes four stages, namely
planning, implementation, observation, reflection. The subjects of this study were
students of class X SMAN 2 Kubu Babussalam, totaling 27 students. From the
results of this study, the average value of teacher observations in the first cycle
was 58.3% (Enough) which increased in the second cycle 83.3% (Very Good).
The results of student observations in the first cycle of 65.6% (Good) experienced
an increase in the second cycle of 84% (Very Good). While student learning
outcomes in the first cycle of students who completed 15 with a percentage value
of 55.5% (Enough) while in the second cycle student learning outcomes
increased, students who completed 25 with a percentage value of 92.6% (Good).
Thus the Make a Match type of cooperative learning model can improve teacher
teaching skills, improve student learning abilities and student learning outcomes
on the material of the origin of Indonesian ancestors in class X SMAN 2 Kubu
Babussalam.
