Pengaruh Supervisi Kepala Sekolah Dan Motivasi Kerja Terhadap Kinerja Guru SD Negeri Di Gugus IV Kecamatan Pangkalan Kerinci Kabupaten Pelalawan
Principals play an important role as those who have more authority in realizing wise and good teacher performance, and have full self-awareness to fulfill their responsibilities as teachers. The aims of this study were (1) to determine the effect of the principal's supervision on the performance of State Elementary School teachers in cluster IV, Pangkalan Kerinci District, (2) to determine the effect of teacher work motivation on the performance of State Elementary School teachers in cluster IV Pangkalan Kerinci District, and (3) determine the effect of principal supervision and work motivation on the performance of elementary school teachers in cluster IV Pangkalan Kerinci sub-district. The research method used is quantitative research. The results showed that there was a significant and positive effect between the supervision of the principal and work motivation on the performance of teachers in cluster IV, Pangkalan Kerinci sub-district.
The main factor that can affect the performance of a human work is the need to be fulfilled, because the activity in working contains elements of a social activities that produces something that ultimately aims to meet the needs and to achieve better life levels. While to know the factors that affect individual performance, need to be assessed by performance theory, as there are very physical and non-physical factors that are very influencing. As the physical environment conditions greatly affect the condition of the teacher in work. In addition, the condition of the physical environment will also affect the functioning of non-physical environmental factors.
Motivation is something that must be a concern, whether we work independently or even in a larger scope such as companies or educational institutions. With high motivation, someone can work optimally. The importance of maintaining work motivation in workers will also have a significant impact on the company’s goals. Teacher work motivation is a stimulus that exists in a teacher either from inside and outside, which can foster morale for teachers to achieve the targets given. A motivation is closely related or directly proportional to one's ideals. The higher of the person’s ideals, the higher the motivation in him to do. Teachers who have high motivation, certainly have a different mindset from the other teachers who have low or no motivation.
The results obtained, a student who were guided by teachers who had high motivation and those who were less motivated were clearly different. It can be said that motivation is the difference between being able to do and willing to do. Someone who does a job sincerely will have a good impact on their performance. Therefore, to maintain teacher’s performance in order to remain optimal, it is necessary to maintain the motivation of the teacher himself. Such as giving appreciation to outstanding teachers, providing a sense of security for these teachers and paying attention to the workload they carry. The success of a teacher in implementing learning cannot be separated from the workload it carries.

The principal supervision is a series of service and assistance of the principal to the guidant-teacher teachers, monitor and assess the implementation of learning to improve the quality of learning. In the essence of Supervise contains some basic activities, namely sustainable coaching, development of personnel capabilities, repairing the study of taught learning by the target end of achieving the educational goals and personal growth of learners.
The purpose in this study is to analyze the influence of free variables to bound variables is the effect of supervision of the principal and work motivation on the performance of SD Negeri Teachers in the group IV district of Palangalan Palangi Pelalawan Regency. This research uses survey method by using questionnaire as a data gathering tool. Type of quantitative research with 130 populations. Sampling was in a proportional way of random sampling, resulting in 30 samples. The data analysis technique is done in two stages that are descriptively and inferentially. Then the data obtained was analyzed by regression analysis, regression coefficient and the coefficient of determination. The results showed there was a positive influence between the supervision of the principal of the teacher's performance by 35%. There is a negative effect between work motivation on teacher performance by 40%, and there is an influence together between the principal supervision variables and work motivation on the performance of the teacher is significant. Thus, the effect of job loan variables and workouts on the work motivation are in medium interpretations.
