Dinamika Kehidupan Sosial Ekonomi Kelompok Tani Sayur Mustang Kecamatan Marpoyan Damai Kota Pekanbaru (2000-2015)

The Mustang farmer group is one of the farmer groups in Marpoyan
Damai sub-district that conducts vegetable farming on land belonging to the Lanud
(Air Force Base). So far, they have been farming by using land belonging to the
Airbase which has a total land area of 4.4 Ha which is divided into 20 plots with an
average area of 0.22 Ha. The objectives of this research are 1) To find out the
beginning of the formation of Mustang vegetable farmer groups. 2) To find out how
the development of Mustang vegetable farmer groups in 2000-2015. 3) To find out
how the socio-economic conditions of Mustang vegetable farmer groups in 2000-15.
In this study the authors used historical research methods. The Mustang Farmer
Group has started farming since it was first formed on December 18, 2000. In the
course of the dynamics of 2000-2015, the Mustang Vegetable Farmer Group
underwent many changes, such as social and economic changes. But with
persistence they were finally able to enter a decade of success with big earnings in
2015.
