Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Matematika Menggunakan Software Geogebra Untuk Memfasilitasi Minat Belajar Peserta Didik Pada Materi Segiempat Kelas VII SMP/MTS

The purpose of this research is to produce mathematics learning media using geogebra software to facilitate students' interest in learning in valid and practical class VII SMP/MTs quadrilateral material. In addition, as an aid to find out the truth of the principle, as a form of object mathematical skills (procedures). The development model of this research is a 4D model, namely define, design, develop, and distribute. The trial was conducted on media users, namely teachers and students. The teacher user trial was carried out with a trial without the learning process and with the learning process. Student user trials were conducted with small and large group trials. Small group trial consisting of 8 students of class VII SMP IT ALFITYAH Pekanbaru. Large group trial consisting of 15 students of SMP IT ALFITYAH Pekanbaru. The results showed that the learning media developed were in the very valid category with the total average value for the material component was 4.05 and the material component was 4.03. During the process of trying to use the media by the teacher, it was seen that the students listened and paid attention to the teacher and were active in the learning process. This is supported by the results of the interest in learning questionnaire which shows an average percentage of 72.25% in the high category.
