Faktor-Faktor Yang Berhubungan Dengan Tindakan Ibu Hamil Dalam Melakukan Vaksinasi Covid-19
ABSTRACT
Introduction: COVID-19 is an infectious disease that can be prevented in several ways, one of which is by vaccinating against COVID-19. Vaccination is an effective measure to reduce the spread of COVID-19, especially in pregnant women who are a vulnerable group and have a high risk of severity due to COVID-19. This study aims to determine the factors related to the actions of pregnant women in carrying out COVID-19 vaccinations. Methods: This study uses a quantitative descriptive type of research with a cross-sectional study approach. The population of this study was pregnant women. The research sample comprised 78 respondents who were taken according to the inclusion criteria. Sampling using purposive sampling. The instrument used is a questionnaire. The data that was collected was analyzed using the chi-square test. Results: The results of the statistical test showed that the COVID-19 vaccination action was low for pregnant women, namely 10,3%. There was a significant relationship between perceptions, information obtained from health workers, and family support with the actions of pregnant women in carrying out COVID-19 vaccinations. Conclusion: This study reports that COVID-19 vaccination measures are still low in the group of pregnant women. Concern about the safety of the vaccine given is a determining factor for pregnant women not to vaccinate against COVID-19. Adequate information from health workers related to the safety of the COVID-19 vaccine for pregnant women is needed to increase the confidence of pregnant women in the COVID-19 vaccine.
