Pengaruh Kompetensi Manajerial Dan Literasi Finansial Terhadap Kepemimpinan Visioner Kepala SMA Kota Pekanbaru
The principal as a professional official in the school organization whose job is to manage all organizational resources and cooperate with teachers in educating students in order to achieve educational goals. The principal plays an important and very decisive role in the effort to achieve predetermined organizational goals. A school principal may not be able to work alone. Principals should have the courage to make decisions and take responsibility for the consequences and risks that arise as a consequence of their decisions. The principal must have insightful knowledge, skills, and in-depth information in the process of issuing the right decision. Principals need other organizational devices that are driven in such a way that they provide service and contribution to the organization. This service can be realized by working efficiently, effectively, and productively so that the goals and vision of the school are achieved. The principal as a leader communicates these visions and influences others so that the new direction of a leader gets support and is eager to utilize the energy resources they have to realize these visions. A leader is an inspiration for change and a visionary who has a clear vision of the direction of the organization. The school's vision must be an attribute of a school principal now and in the future, because a principal with a shallow vision will bring school decline and will only produce bad schools, which are not liked by the community. Because visionary leaders are required not only to be able to formulate, transform, and implement the vision, but must have a strategy to implement agreed school programs. This is where the importance of the visionary leadership of the principal in improving the quality of the school he leads in order to bring the school towards progress and independence. A visionary principal should have designed from the start to improve the quality of schools, such as developing a vision and mission of a superior school, being an example or reference for other schools. As a school leader, the principal must have good management. Because it is in the hands of the principal that the school goes back and forth. Managerial principals are able to have a significant effect in the school environment. Therefore, the principal as a manager is required to have managerial skills in managing school administration. Then the success of the principal is always associated with the abilities he has, there are several abilities that are indispensable in living life, including doing work. In some literature, this ability is known as literacy, namely the ability to understand, analyze, and deconstruct media imaging. One of the literacy that must be understood by school principals is financial literacy in realizing good management for schools. This study raises research problems about: 1) is there an influence of managerial competence on the visionary leadership of high school principals in Pekanbaru City? 2) Is there any influence of financial literacy on the visionary leadership of SMA principals in Pekanbaru City? And 3) is there a significant influence between managerial competence and financial literacy together on the
visionary leadership of SMP principals in Pekanbaru City? Then this study aims to analyze 1) the effect of managerial competence on the visionary leadership of high school principals in Pekanbaru City; 2) the effect of financial literacy on the visionary leadership of high school principals in the city of Pekanbaru, and 3) the significant effect of joint managerial competence and financial literacy on the visionary leadership of junior high school principals in the city of Pekanbaru. This study uses a quantitative approach with the type of research that will be used is the type of ex post facto research. The technique in this study was conducted to analyze the effect of two independent variables (independent variables), namely managerial competence (X1), financial literacy (X2), on one dependent variable, namely visionary leadership (Y). The population in this study were all high school principals in Pekanbaru City with a population of 88 teachers from both public and private high school principals, the research sample was 73 principals in Pekanbaru City High School. The trial was conducted on 30 principals who were taken by other schools with the same characteristics of the school. data collection techniques in the form of an instrument in the form of a questionnaire. Meanwhile, used to process and analyze the data in this research is the analysis technique of the research data profile in the form of descriptions, descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The data of this study were analyzed using the SPSS (statistical package for social science) version.25 program. The results of the study obtained a significant effect between managerial competence on visionary leadership, significant influence between information literacy on visionary leadership, and a significant influence between managerial competence and financial literacy together on visionary leadership. The results of this study can be concluded that the better the managerial competence of the high school principal in Pekanbaru City, the better the visionary leadership will be, as well as the better the financial literacy of the high school principal in Pekanbaru City, the better the visionary leadership will be, as well as together. This research is expected to be useful for improving and improving the managerial competence and financial literacy of school principals so that the visionary leadership of the principal will have a significant effect on the development of education in schools.
