Pengaruh Supervisi Kademik Kepala Sekolah Dan Motivasi Kerja Terhadap Kinerja Guru Di SMP Negeri Kecamatan Kerinci Kanan Kabupaten Siak
Teacher performance is influenced by the principal's supervision and motivation, the low motivation of teachers, both those who come from themselves and those who come from outside, is an important thing to study so that there is a good managerial change for the principal and the teacher himself. Giving the right motivation will encourage employees to change their behavior to grow and develop to achieve success in work, to optimize the achievements of employees need management support in its implementation, one of which is by providing motivation to employees, so that employees can improve their abilities in accordance with what management wants, so that its performance will increase, in accordance with the goals of the organization. Thus, teacher motivation needs to be conditioned in such a way as to be able to support the smoothness and improvement of the quality of education. This research was carried out at the Kerinci Kanan Junior High School. The time the research was conducted after the seminar was completed. This research is a type of quantitative research with a survey method that aims to analyze how much influence the principal's academic supervision and work motivation have on teacher performance. By using a correlation technique (correlational research). thesis until saturated data has been obtained, the sample in this study was 48 people from 90 population of teachers and principals of SMP Kerinci Kanan while for the trial this research was conducted by taking a sample of 30 people. From the data obtained will be analyzed further in data analysis using statistics. This study consists of three variables, three research variables, namely two independent variables (independent variables) consisting of the supervision of the principal (X1), and work motivation (X2), and one dependent variable, namely teacher performance (Y). Multiple regression analysis is carried out testing can be done on the SPSS program (Statistical Product and Service Solution). 1. If the probability value of 0.05 is smaller (0.05 < sig), then H0 is accepted and H1 is rejected, meaning that there is no significant effect between the variables X1 and X2 with Y. 2. If the probability value of 0.05 is greater (0.05 < sig), then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, meaning that there is a significant effect between the variables X1 and X2 with Y. As the findings of the study found that there was a positive influence and a significant influence on the variables of teacher work motivation (X1) and academic supervision (X2) with teacher performance (Y) at SMP Negeri Kerinci Kanan and the effect was 53.8% with a moderate interpretation, because it was still there are 46.2% determined by other factors that are not part of this study.
This effect is illustrated by every one unit increase in teacher work motivation (X1) followed by an increase in teacher performance (Y) of 0.52 one unit with the assumption that the academic supervision variable (X2) is fixed and every one unit increase in academic supervision (X2) followed by an increase in teacher performance (Y) of 0.82 one unit. This is reinforced by Muhammad Yunus Anisa's research that there is a strong relationship between academic supervision and teacher work motivation on teacher performance. Based on the results of the research that has been done, the researchers provide the following suggestions: 1) It is expected that the principal will continue to carry out academic supervision well and optimally to teachers, so it is hoped that by providing optimal supervision or guidance to teachers can assist teachers in carrying out their duties so that teacher performance can also increase so that the quality of learning becomes better too. 2) It is expected that the principal will always provide guidance and motivation to improve the performance of teachers in their schools. 3) The teachers further increase work motivation so that the performance that has been achieved good can be maintained and improved. 4) Future researchers are expected to be able to examine other factors that also affect teacher performance so that they can increase knowledge important for teachers in improving their performance
