Pengaruh Kompetensi Pedagogik Guru Dan Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah Terhadap Kinerja Mengajar Di SMA/SMK Kecamatan Gunung Sahilan
The quality human resources are the spearhead of the progress of the nation and state so that education as a strategic factor creates quality, quality and competent progress in the process and results of the studying carried out making the delivery of educational success to students through the process and expected results in accordance with quality of education.
In the learning process the teacher is seen as having an important role, especially in helping students to develop their potential in cognitive, affective and psychomotor abilities, the teacher also seeks to arouse curiosity, encourage independence and accuracy of intellectual logic, and create conditions for success in learning. Teacher performance can be seen and measured based on competency specifications/criteria that must be possessed by every teacher, that can be shown through the mastery of pedagogic competence and the principal's leadership on teaching performance which gives an influence. The background of the research is that there are still some symptoms of problems found, including some teachers have not been able to start and end learning effectively, some teachers have not utilized learning resources/learning media properly, and some teachers have not been able to trigger and maintain student involvement in learning.
The formulation of this problem includes (1) Is there an effect of pedagogic competence on teaching performance in SMA/SMK Gunung Sahilan District? (2) Is there any effect of principal's leadership on teaching performance in SMA/SMK Gunung Sahilan District? (3) Is there a simultaneous effect of pedagogical competence and principal leadership on teaching performance in SMA/SMK Gunung Sahilan District? The objectives of this study include (1) analyzing the effect of teacher pedagogical competence on teaching performance in SMA/SMK Gunung Sahilan Subdistrict, (2) Analyzing the effect of principal's leadership on teaching performance in SMA/SMK Gunung Sahilan Subdistrict. (3) Analyzing the pedagogic competence of teachers and principals' leadership together on teaching performance in SMA/SMK Gunung Sahilan District..
This study uses a quantitative approach with the type of research that will be used is the type of ex post facto research. The technique in this study was conducted to analyze the effect of two independent variables, namely pedagogic competence (X1), principals' leadership (X2), on one dependent variable, namely teaching performance (Y). The population in this study were all teachers who were in SMA/SMK Gunung Sahilan District with a total teacher population of 83 people in 3 SMA and 1 SMK, the total sample of this study was 83 teachers in SMA/SMK Gunung Sahilan District. The trial was conducted on 30 teachers at SMA Negeri Kampar Kiri and SMK Negeri Kampar. The technique of collecting data is in the form of an instrument in the form of a questionnaire. Meanwhile, which is used to process and analyze the data in this research is research data analysis techniques in the form of descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The research data were analyzed using the SPSS (statistical package for social science) version.21 program.

The results showed that there was a positive and significant influence on the pedagogic competence of teachers and principals' leadership on teaching performance, either partially or simultaneously. Thus, it can be concluded that teaching performance which leads to optimizing student learning achievement can be improved through increasing the pedagogic competence of teachers and principals' leadership. From the results of the study, it is known that the simultaneous influence of pedagogic competence, principal's leadership, on teaching performance is 56% while the remaining 44% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.
