Pengaruh Supervisi Kepala Sekolah Dan Motivasi Berprestasi Terhadap Kinerja Guru SMA Negeri Sekecamatan Pangkalan Kerinci Kabupaten Pelalawan
Teachers are one of the elements in the field of education who must play an active role and place their position as profesionals in accordance with the demans of growing society. The teacher is a resource element the greatly determines the success of education in schools, because the teacher is a human element that is very closely related to students in daily education effort at school.
Teacher performance is the teacher’s ability to carry our learning tasks and responsibilities and guide student to imprave learning outcomes in order to achieve optimal performance. Teacher performance in this study is the real behavior shown by teacher in carrying out his duties and responsibilities as teaching staff bt carrying out all the learning processes. Performance is still relatively low. This can be seen from several facts that occur, including teachers who tend to be passive, do not have the initiative to develop self-ability and desire to develop a career, there are teachers who have not bee able to work in making classroom action research. In the implementation of supervision is not optimal an not maximized. Achievement motivation is still low, it can be seen that there are no public high school teachers in the Pangkalan Kerinci sub-district who won in the Rau province-level high-achieving teacher competition in 2021.
The purpose of this study is to analizy (1) how much positive and significant influence the principal’s supervisin has on the performance of SMA Negeri teacher in Pangkalan Kerinci sub-district, (2) how much positif and significant influence on achievement motivation on the performance of SMA Negeri teachers in Pangkalan Kerinci sub-district, (3) how much positive and signifinat influence the principal’s supervision and achievement motivation have on the performance of public high school teachers in the Pangkalan Kerinci sub-district.

The research approach used in this research is a quantitative research approach. This study will explain the relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable and look for whether or not there is a pattern of relationship or influence between the variables of principal supervision and achievement motivation on teacher work. The the population in this study were all 104 public high school teachers in the Pangkalan Kerinci district, Pelalawan Regency. Based on the calculation results, the sample set in this study amounted to 82 teachers. The data analysis techniques used in this study werw 1) quantitative descriptive analysis test, 2)classical assumption test, 3) partial t test, 4) simultaneous F test.
The results of the study obtained several sonclusions as follows : 1) Priciapal’s supervision has a positive and significant effect on the performance of

State Senior Hight School teachers in the Pangkalan Kerinci sub-district by 31,1% and 68,9% is influenced by other factors that are nit variabels in this study, 2)Achievement motivation has a positive and significant effect on the performance of State Senior High School teachers in Pangkalan Kerinci district by 42,9% and 57,1% is influenced by other factors that are not variables in this study, 3) Principal Supervision and Achievement Motivation have a positive and significant effect together the same is true for the performance of SMA Negeri teachers in Pangkalan Kerinci dub-district by 44,2%, while the remaining 55,8% is influenced by other factors.
