Interaksi Aliran Oksigen Terhadap Regangan Pada Pernapasan Manusia Menggunakan Serat Kisi Bragg
The FBG (Fiber Bragg grating) sensor is a form of optical fiber strain sensor, that is widely used in biomedical applications, particularly for assessing respiratory parameters. The measurements were conducted at two conditions i.e., at breathing normally and breathing while receiving supplemental oxygen. An oxygen mask was used as a medium to position on the mask: top, center and bottom. FBG will experience deformation and Bragg’s wavelength shift under particular condition. An optical sensing interrogator will be used to measure as both an input and an output of the Bragg’s wavelength. The strain value was then calculated based on changes in the wavelength. The FBG strain values in this investigation ranged from 2x10-5 to 6x10-5 for normal and from 0,1x10-5 to 8x10-5 for conditions with oxygen flow. The addition of oxygen flow, on the other hand, did not result in a significant increase in strain value, but it did gradually decrease with oxygen flow.
