Karakterisasi Sifat Fisik Tanah Yang Telah Diaplikasikan Air Limbah Pabrik Kelapa Sawit (Studi Kasus Kebun Kelapa Sawit Ptpn V Sei Galuh)
Palm oil mill effluent that has been processed in accordance with predetermined quality standards can be reused for oil palm land. This study aims to determine the effect of the application of palm oil mill effluent on the soil physical properties. The method used in this research is land survey. Sampling was carried out on land where palm oil mill effluent was applied, namely inside the flatbed, between flatbed and oil palm, between two flatbed and on land without the application of palm oil mill effluent. Sampling was carried out on the top layer with a depth of 0-30 cm and the bottom layer 30-60 cm, while the flatbed was carried out on the top layer with a depth of 50-80 cm and the bottom layer 80-110 cm from the soil surface. The results showed that the application of liquid waste increased the C-organic content of the soil. In addition, it increases the value of soil moisture content, bulk density and particle density at the location inside the flatbed, while the location between the flatbed increases the total pore space, permeability, and infiltration rate. The results of correlation analysis show that C-organic is correlated wth permeability, bulk density, particle density, and total pore space in the low layer. The bulk density correlated with particle density and the total pore space.
