Studi Kinerja Jalan Soekarno-Hatta Pekanbaru Di Masa Pandemi Covid 19

ABSTRACT
Soekarno-Hatta Street is one of the highways located in Marpoyan Damai District,
Pekanbaru City, Riau Province. Soekarno-Hatta road is a provincial road
(primary collector) with type 4 lanes 2 divided directions. As one of the road that
accesses downtown Pekanbaru, Soekarno-Hatta road is one of the road that
deserves attention for the convenience of motorists. Road performance is the
ability of a road segment to serve traffic flows that occur on that road segment.
Road performance is determined by capacity, degree of saturation (DJ),and
average speed. Based on the analysis conducted on the 200-meter-long Soekarno-
Hatta road at the KM 2.6 point, the calculation results show that the Soekarno-
Hatta road performance is good. The highest traffic volume occurs on Sunday at
18.00-19.00 WIB at 2710,7 smp/hour. The capacity in the road segment is
6194,07 smp/hour, DJ is 0.43 with a travel speed of 50 km/hour. Based on the
2014 PKJI, Soekarno-Hatta KM 2.6 road is categorized at service level B, where
the vehicle flow is stable, but the operating speed is starting to be limited by
traffic conditions, the driver has sufficient freedom to choose the speed.
