ABSTRACT
This study aims to analyze how the influence of education level, infrastructure, income level and livelihood on the socio-economic community of Mengkapan Village on the existence of the Tanjung Buton port, Mengkapan Village, Sungai Apit District, Siak Regency and also to see which variables have the most dominant influence on socio-economic Mengkapan Village community for the existence of Tanjung Buton Port, Mengkapan Village, Sungai Apit District, Siak Regency.
The analytical method used in this research is quantitative method, this research uses multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS version 24.0 program and uses primary data obtained from survey results on 100 respondents. The results showed that all the independent variables studied, namely the level of education, infrastructure, income levels and livelihoods had a significant positive influence on the existence of the Tanjung Buton port. From the results of the overall regression test, it shows that the income level variable has a dominant influence on the social conditions of the community for the existence of Tanjung Buton Port.
